Isle of Harris and Lewis
22nd - 29th March 2026
Only 2 Places Remaining
£1250 per person if sharing a room en suite room
£1650 per person - sole occupancy in a en suite room
A short ferry ride away from the Isle of Skye is the beautiful Isle of Harris and Lewis, which is famous for its stunning sandy beaches, turquoise sea, amazing sea stacks and arches and so much more. Like the Skye, Harris and Lewis is one of "The" landscape photographers must visit locations.
We will be staying in a 5 bedroom house which overlooks the famous Seilebost beach on the Isle of Harris.. Every room is en suite with amazing living space and even better views! This is the perfect base to explore all of that this amazing isle has to offer. March is an amazing time to visit as the days and nights are the same length. Sunrise is around 6.45am with Sunset at 6.30. The workshop has been planned around the moon cycle too. The new moon is on 19th March which means that we will have amazingly dark skies. This lends itself to photographing the Northern Lights * if we are lucky enough and they make an appearance along with the Galactic Core of the Milkyway rising once more above the horizon. The blue hour and golden hour light is amazing but please remember this is Scotland - we will probably get 4 seasons in 1 day! With the temperatures still being quite low, we should also not be bothered by the infamous Scottish Midges which can be a real problem during the summer months!
As with all of my UK week long workshops, places are limited to 4 clients only. If you are travelling by yourself then the cost of the workshop is £1450, if you are coming with a friend or partner and sharing a room the the cost would be £1150 per person.
There will be some walking required to get to some of the photography locations, as such a medium level of fitness would be required.
The cost of the workshop includes 7 nights self catering accommodation, travel around Harris and Lewis during the workshop and photography tuition. We will also have plenty of time to critique our photos along with developing your knowledge with Lightroom and Photoshop.
If you would like to join me on Harris and Lewis then please click here to be taken back to the main workshop page and use the booking request form at the bottom of the page. A £400 deposit is required to reserve your place with the remaining balance due by the 3rd January 2026.
I am also running a week long workshop on the Isle of Skye from the 14th - 21st March, click here for more details. If you would like to join me on both workshops, then a discounted price is available.
Please note that that Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis are naturally occurring phenomena. Whilst every effort will me made to find locations where it may be possible to see and photograph them, this cannot be guaranteed due to weather or naturally occurring conditions. In the event that is it not possible to see or photograph the Northern Lights / Aurora Borealis, no partial of full refund will be offered.
