The Best of Iceland
19th - 29th September 2024
£2950 per person
On this 10 day / 11 night workshop we explore and photograph many of the iconic locations that you will have seen, if you look at photographs of Iceland. Locations that are visited include, Kirkjufell and the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, The Golden Circle, Haifoss, Dyrholaey, Skogafoss, Vic Beach, Flaorargljfur, Diamond Beach, Glacier Lagoon, Vestrahorn, Eystrahorn, Eastern Fjords, Hengifoss and Seydisfjordur to name but a few. Then of course there are the Northern Lights which we will be searching for every evening when conditions allow.
September is a great month to visit this amazing island as the weather is usually kind ( I have photographed in just a t shirt many times - as well as full artic gear, well this is Iceland after all ). The Autumn colours are pretty spectacular as well - don't believe all of those stories about their being no trees or shrubs on Iceland.
As with all of my Iceland workshops, places are limited to 3 clients which not only ensures that you get the very best experience and tuition but also allows us to hire a 4 wheeled drive vehicle which gets us to places that mini buses on larger workshops can't.
The price includes accommodation, which is a mixture of bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation and you will always have you own private bedroom. Travel around Iceland and the workshop itself are also included. Flights, optional excursions and evening meals / drinks are not included.
The Best of Iceland Workshop has become a firm favourite with my clients and places are usually taken a couple of years in advance. Indeed, the only reason that you are seeing this one advertised is that a client who was booked on to it has decided to join me on the November 2024 tour.
Please use the booking form on the main workshop page to secure you place. A £300 non refundable deposit will be required to secure your place with the balance due on the 1st July 2024..
The Northern lights are a naturally occurring phenomena. Whilst every effort will be made to find locations to see and photograph them, they cannot be guaranteed due to weather or other conditions that may or may not exist. In the event that it isn't possible to see or photograph the Northern Lights then no full or partial refund will be given.
