Glencoe, Highlands, Scotland
8th - 15th January 2022
We will be staying in the village of Glencoe itself which is the iconic gateway to some of the most spectacular landscapes in all of the UK.
Glencoe in January can be an inhospitable place and you will need plenty of warm clothes and waterproofs. It is also a spectacular month when the mountains can be at their winter best.
From towering peaks, to crashing waterfalls, amazing panoramas Glencoe is a photographers paradise. There is also the advantage of being able to explore the local coastline and lochs with amazing views to behold.
In favourable conditions it is also possible to see and photograph the Northern Lights. During January, the cold night temperatures allow the stars to really shine in the cold atmosphere.
During the week we will visit places such as Glencoe, Glen Etive, Fort William / Ben Nevis, Loch Leven. If time allows we may also drive to Loch Lommond or up to Loch Garry.
For all of the workshops that I run, I book self catering accommodation. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly it allows us to photograph when and where we want too without having to worry about prepaid meals. Mother Nature wont wait for us to finish our breakfast before she puts on the best light conditions! Secondly it helps to keep costs down as we all put into a kitty and buy the provisions that we need.
With 4 places only available of this workshop, it will allows us all to travel together during the workshop. ensure that you receive all of the tuition that you need and form great friendships with rest of the group.
The cost of the workshop is £950 per person if travelling alone and having your own room. For 2 clients travelling together and sharing a room, the cost per person is £700. A £100 non refundable deposit* per person is required to secure your place.
* please note, if restrictions are in place due to Covid 19 which forces the cancellation of the workshop then the £100 deposit will be refund.
